Lekoizpe is a company founded in 1987 dedicated mainly to the machining of parts and boilermaking, mechanical welding and closing and soundproofing cabinets. An auxiliary or subcontracting workshop was set up to meet the demand for above activities in our area. The company started in the Otola industrial estate with a 300 m² building by three founding partners. Later the building was extended by 150 m², where we carried out our business for the first 14 years. Lekoizpe S.L. continued to increase its workforce and in year 2000 there were 15 employees.
That same year, due to the need for new machinery and a larger surface area, we moved to the new Kareaga estate (200 m from the old one) in order to construct a new 1500 m² building with convenient access and modern equipment for meeting our current needs.
We make parts to drawing, both single parts and small and medium production runs. We also assemble small and medium size assemblies with parts fully manufactured at Lekoizpe S.L. or using parts provided by the customer, as is the case with the components. When required by the customer, many parts that are first produced by welding-metal are then machined to finish the part, so the customer does not have to find another supplier to carry out the next process. Also, for operations that we cannot carry out internally, such as hardening, embossing and anti-corrosion priming, among others,
Lekoizpe will take the parts to an external supplier and collect them again so that the customer can pick up the completely finished part from our facilities or it can be delivered to the customer’s premises.
Furthermore, we have experience in the assembly of soundproof and dustproof booths of different dimensions for work-lines. Currently, the workshop is divided into two sections: metal forming-welding and machining.
